A loan of $1,125 helped to purchase high-quality "pagnes" (colorful wax cloth).

Ayélé Kafui's story

This woman is a door-to-door salesperson of "pagnes" (colorful wax cloth) in the neighborhood of Kégué in the city of Lomé. She started this business in 2005. She is married and the mother of 3 children. She supplied herself from the Big Market in Lomé. She sells her "pagnes" for credit to her most faithful clients. With this strategy, she always supplies herself with stock before the end of the month. Currently, she wants to launch herself into a new business of high quality "pagnes"; it is for this reason that she is requesting a loan from the micro-finance institution WAGES. She will use this loan to buy 25 Wax Dutch brand "pagnes", 25 Hitarget brand "pagnes", 30 Soso brand "pagnes" and 15 Bogolan brand "pagnes". She is confident that she will honor the loans reimbursement dates.
