A loan helped a member to pay for additional farming materials.

Kroem Group's story

Kroem is a 48 year-old married mother of two school-aged children, and she resides in Kratie Province, Cambodia.

Since 2005, she and her husband have worked at the local rubber plantation. They earn approximately $10 per day.

Kroem is the group leader pictured first from the right, and she would like to request a loan as part of her three-member group.

Kroem will use her share to support her working to pay for additional farming materials.

Growing better rubber crops will help support her family.

Her future plans include purchasing her own farm, saving enough money to build a new house, and supporting her children to go to college.
