Puth H., 48, is married and resides with her husband and their 16-year-old child in Kompong Cham province. To make a living, she is engaged in a business selling Cambodian traditional cakes. She also raises pigs at her home in the village, earning an income of US $3 per day. Her husband is involved in the agriculture sector as rice field farmer in the flooding area of his farmlands, earning an income of US $2 per day. Their standard of living has been improved since they start these businesses. H. is asking for a loan of US $500 to purchase pig feed. By doing so, her pigs will grow up efficiently and she will then be able to sell the pigs at a good price.
