Yee S., 51, is married with six children children. She lives with her husband in Battambong Province Province. To make a living, her husband operates his motorbike attached with a trailer in the town, typically earning US $5 per day which is the primary source of income for the family. Her husband has to work hard everyday to ensure a good living for the family and the children. The family also assisted by two of the children who are currently employed in a local hotel as drivers with a reasonable income to make a good living and to assist the family. S. is seeking to increase her income and start a new business. She is asking for a loan of US $1000 to buy all of sugar canes in stock from the local farmer in her province and sell them back in fairly profitable price. By doing so, she hopes she will be able to raise a good standard of living for her family.
