Mr. Chamnab Kit Village Bank Loan Group's story

A village bank loan which consists of seventeen people is located in Thmei village in Takeo province and all the members will use the loan in different purposes. Mr. Chamnab K. is the village bank president. He is a farmer who owns a small piece of land to cultivate both rice and vegetables. In his plantation, he needs pesticides to kill insects. In order to deal this problem, he decided to ask for a loan for this purpose and he would use the rest of loan to hire laborers to work on the field. His wife, Mrs. K. Seng Ly, is a weaver. Mr. Chamnab K. is 35 years old and the father of three children, two of whom are enrolled in the local school and the youngest one is too young to work or study.
