A loan of $1,050 helped building of a textile workshop.

Maria's story

Maria is 36 years old and a sweet mother dedicated to the well-being of her loved ones with whom she lives in her own house, which is still under construction. She carries out her business as a seamstress in a factory in the center of the capitol. Her job is to complete finished clothing items and for her good performance and dedication they have increased her salora and she was able to acquire a sewing machine with which she works from her house every weekend, creating clothes that her clients, including the majority of her neighbors, request. What she likes the most about her work is that people value her finished clothes and designs that she creates, and this is why she has worked in this capacity for 15 years. She considers working under the pressure of the changes in weather the most difficult aspect of her job and when she works doubly hard to increase her production. Her future plans are to create her own workshop and work in her house together with her family. This is María's sixth loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA, where she has worked punctually in her payments and been able to win the affection of the other entrepreneurs in her group who hold her in high esteem. María is requesting a loan of $1050, which will help her to continue to build her dressmaking workshop.
