A loan helped to buy farm inputs.

Stellah's story

Greetings from Chuka, Kenya!

Stellah, 38 years old, is married to a hardworking husband and blessed with beautiful children. She lives in Chuka, a region whose occupants are poor. She is blessed with lovely parents who are her greatest motivation in life. She perseveres because she wants to provide a good life for them.

Stellah was unable to study for a professional career because of her family's economic situation. However, she never gave up and has been practicing farming for nine years. She loves farming, so much so that she has even nicknamed one of her cows, which makes her a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking her dairy cows. Her cows produce five to eight liters each day, which helps her support her parents. She also practices crop farming, but she has not been making good profits because of her poor farming inputs.

This is why Stellah is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs. With this loan, she will be able to purchase high-quality seeds, good fertilizer, and pesticides, which she will use to greatly improve her crop production. Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques. Using high-quality seeds will assure her a bumper harvest and increased profits.

With this loan, Stellah believes she will turn around her parents' lives. She is really thankful for your help, in advance.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals and farming equipment.
