Jean Claude's story

Jean Claude is 28 years old and is a first-year refugee student at Kepler. He grew up in a refugee camp, where he completed his primary and secondary education with the support of his family. He chose to continue with his university studies and applied to Kepler. He believes that Kepler will equip him with essential skills to be competent at work and will be able to study what he wants. He is intent on studying communications with a concentration in business and will get a BA in that field. After graduation, Jean Claude hopes to be a manager of a bank and put to practice his skills.

Jean Claude's family will benefit from his education at Kepler because he will be studying on the student loan grant, reducing the family expenditure. Furthermore, he will mature into a skilled person and will use those skills and competencies to participate in the development of his country.
