Van's story

Ms Van, who appears in the photo, is a 60-year-old married woman, and a hardworking mother. Ms Van has four children and she does different jobs to support her big family.

She has been earning money by making cakes and then selling them in the local market. Ms Van is now thinking of expanding her business. She wants to diversify the products made from rice powder including noodles, dumpling, rolled rice cake. This would be a profitable business because Ms Van is a good cook and these meals are very popular in her hometown.
