Noah S., age 37, is a widow. She lives with her two young children in Battambong Province. To make a living, she is engaged in a business of selling groceries, vegetable, typically earning US $6 per day. She is also involved in the agriculture sector as a rice field farmer when she is free from her business. S. has to work hard everyday to ensure a good living for her family and her two children. Therefore, she is seeking to increase her income and improve her business. She is asking for a loan of US $800 to purchase more groceries and vegetable to expand her current business. By doing so, she believes that she will be able to raise a good standard of living for her family.
