Sokkea Group's story

Sokkea, 27, is a married mother of two school aged children who resides in the village in Tbong Khmum Province, Cambodia. She is a farmer and has been working with her husband together in the cassava farm for the past 12 years to earn income for support the life expenses.

In order to increase her crop yields and family profits, she is now asking for a loan with the group of two members. As a group leader, she would like to use her loan share to purchase natural compost for cultivating rice on dry season. With the profits from this season’s harvesting, she is going to enlarge her farmland, build a new house, and support her children to get higher education.
