A loan of $700 helped purchase of two young bulls.

Armando's story

Armando is 38 years old and lives in a rented house with his partner, who is the mother of his two children. For more than 18 years he has bought and sold cattle (native-born bulls and cows). After he makes each purchase, he feeds the cattle until they reach the proper weight. Then he sells them by the kilo to a butcher shop. He sell the bulls at another price, given that they are more in demand for use in plowing fields in the primarily agricultural zone in which he lives. Armando is very happy with his business, where he has learned through the years to obtain the largest financial returns in order to pay for his children's education.

This is his fourth loan through Kiva partner MFP, with whom he is very comfortable. He is grateful to his communal bank for providing the services that allow him to improve his quality of life. The proceeds of the loan he is now requesting will be invested in the purchase of two young bulls.
