Riffat is a 25 years old, married woman, and a mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter. The two sons currently go to school while her little daughter is a toddler. They live in a rented house in Rawalpindi city. Her husband does painting work and his income is dependent on when there are orders. Riffat is a housewife and entrepreneur. She usually takes order from her neighbors. Having seen her talent the local neighborhood girls come to her to learn sewing and embroidery.
Having seen the demand to learn this art she decided to open her own sewing training center. She already has a sewing machine and intends to buy three simple and two computerized sewing machines that also do embroidery.
She has therefore requested a loan from BRAC Pakistan to buy these machines that she will repay with her income. Riffat wants to become an inspiration for her children and her neighbors.
