A loan of $2,500 helped inventory for export to Senegal.

Badara's story

Four years ago, Badara started a business exporting goods to his native Senegal. He sends products like electronics and clothing from the U.S. to his daughter, who sells them back home. He loves being able to provide a livelihood for his daughter that will pay her expenses and education back home, rather than just giving her money.

Badara is a long-time ACCION USA borrower and this is his fourth loan. He started with a $500 loan to build his credit and has taken out incrementally larger loans since then. He is proud of his stellar repayment record and the fact that he has been able to establish a great credit history in this country, which is not an easy feat.
