A loan of $250 helped operating capital.

Maria Licet's story

Doña Maria Licet Martínez Martínez has been selling general merchandise for the past 10 years. She offers her products at affordable prices throughout various markets in the region. She is the mother of three dependent children. Her husband is a truck driver who travels throughout Nicaragua and other parts of Central America. They both are motivated to move forward and work together so that their children lack nothing.

Sra. Maria buys her merchandise at the market in Managua because the products there are better. She hopes to earn a little more income every day, improve her business, and teach her children how to make an honest living. The loan she is requesting will be invested into her business. She hopes to be able to run her business out of her home.
