A loan helped to buy buko (young coconut), ice and plastic cups.

Jesusa's story

To generate additional income, Jesusa has been helping her husband sell buko juice (coconut juice) within the whole community for almost two years. With their food cart, they go around the community to sell the buko juice.

Jesusa is 45 years old and has three schooling children. Despite financial hardship, they want to continue sending their children to school so that they will earn a degree and find a good job someday. They help each other in gaining income to support the education of their children and provide their daily necessities. They want to continue to improve this business but they have insufficient capital. For this reason, she is requesting a loan of 10,000 PHP to be used in buying more buko, ice and plastic cups.

Through their patience and strong determination, they believe that someday they will further improve the business.
