Bethel Group's story

Rose sells pastries. She is 59 years old, married and has five children, all in school. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment the town of Wiawso in the Western Region of Ghana. Wiawso is a commercial and farming town.

Rose is the leader of a trust bank group called Bethel. The group members are engaged either in farming or trading activities. They supply their local market and nearby communities, and sometimes trek to nearby community markets. They want a loan to buy goods in bulk to expand their businesses.
