Amanecer Vino Tinto Group's story

The 12 members of the “Amanecer D. Vino Tinto”, three men and the remainder women, group are represented by Eugenia. The group's president and some of her co-members run grocery stores, while other members are engaged in such businesses as the sale of foodstuffs, cosmetics, selling and making cakes and pastries, running a local store, selling books, meals, making rucksacks and clothing and producing wooden furniture. The group is now in its second cycle, and will find the credit provided by the institution of great help in their enthusiastic efforts to strengthen and expand their various businesses. Some have previously worked with other community-based groups, giving them experience of such organizations and the desire to continue their efforts to proviD. their families with a better future. The new loan will be used to purchase tools and raw materials, to expand workshops and other forms of capital investment in their businesses, with the aim of increasing their revenue to maintain a more decent standard of living for their families.
