Mrs. Vantha M. is the bank president, selected by the members. She is also a rice soup seller and a pig breeder. Her husband, Mr. Ly Keo, is a farmer and taxi driver. The couple has two children, one of whom attends the local school, and another who is too young to work or study.

Vantha is applying for a loan to buy pig food and piglets for breeding. She hopes to increase her income and improve her family’s living with this loan.
