A loan helped a member to increase her clothes business merchandise with new released Autumn and Winter collection in her newly established clothes selling shop.


Dam El Hana Group's story

Falak, the lady at the far right side of the picture, is Dam El Hana group's featured borrower. She is a 46-year-old married Syrian citizen, and a mother of seven children.

She got along with the other two Lebanese ladies to acquire a group loan from Kiva's field partner, Al Majmoua, because their main aim is to improve their families' social and financial situations.

In 2008, Falak started her home-based clothes selling business. She decided that through her loan share, she will increase her clothes merchandise with autumn and winter collections in her newly established clothes shop.

As for the other group members, Dam El Hana is the lady at the far left, while Amana is the lady sitting in the middle.
