A loan of $525 helped increase inventory.

Elvira's story

Elvira is a 35-year-old woman who lives in her own house with her husband and 3 children. For 11 years, she has been selling fire extinguishers. Her customers are primarily drivers in the area who must have a fire extinguisher in their vehicles as a safety precaution. Elvira works alongside her husband, selling products all day. Since it is mandatory for drivers of many types of vehicles to have extinguishers, she manages to get in many orders and satisfactory profits. This is the second time that she requests a loan from MFP. She feels very happy to be a part of her communal bank, which is why she is committed to once again combine efforts for the common good. The money that she is requesting will be invested in purchasing more fire extinguishers.
