Las Palmas Group's story

The Group “Las Palmas” (The Palms) is led by Sra. Julia and composed of 13 young members between the ages of 20 and 40. Even though they are a cheerful group, they have demonstrated unity, responsibility, and honesty throughout their previous loan cycles. The members are involved in retail businesses selling products such as clothing, shoes, cosmetics, food, bread, and lingerie. They sell their goods door-to-door and from established locations. Competition in the retail marketplace is high, but the members know how to cope in this environment by diversifying their merchandise or moving their vending locations around the various local fairs. They do not mind working long hours since most of them are single mothers who would make any sacrifice in order to support their children.

Their loan will be used to purchase goods and supplies to grow their businesses and increase their incomes so that they can provide their families with a better quality of life. With regard to their credit experience, the members have started their third loan cycle and have successfully demonstrated responsibility with their payments.
