Lima, Peru / Grocery Store

A loan of $125 helped increase stock.

Patricia's story

Patricia is 35 years old and lives with her husband Julio who is 34 years old and a bricklayer. They have a 16-year old daughter. For 2 years, she has made a living selling groceries in a store that she started in her home. This business allows her to work at home and take care of her family at the same time. However, she sometimes can't go out freely since her business is open Monday to Sunday. This is very tiring for Patricia but she doesn't give up as she knows that she does it for a great purpose. Thanks to her business her family has economic stability.

Patricia works with great joy and is very eager to improve her business since she wants to have a better store to get more customers. This is her fifth loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA. She is very punctual at making her payments as are her follow members of the communal bank. With the money she is asking for, Patricia will purchase sweets to stock her store in hopes to increase her sales as they are on high demand.
