Elizabeth's story

Mrs. Elizabeth is a member of the “Nuevo Provenir” (New Proceeds) Community Bank that is located in the district of Puno, in the Puno province, in the department of Puno. She is 35 years old, has a domestic partner and is the mother of two children. Her higher educational studies are not complete. She lives in the Barrio Los Andes Jr. Ruiz Gallo 116.
She has worked with the Manuela Ramos Movement for four years. Her first loan was for 300.00 new soles, money that she invested in the purchase of wool to be used to make folk art.
This time she is asking for a loan of 1700 new soles in order to buy many colors of alpaca wool, cord and synthetic wool etc. This will be used to make small folk art objects.
Her desire is to have a store where she can sell folk art. She would also like to export folk art. She likes punctuality and reunions.
