Mchikichini Group's story

Salma is in her mid 30's. She is a divorced mother of one school going child. She is a food vendor, she sells all the local foods such as ugali, rice, spaghetti and bananas. She has been in this business for 5 years. She usually works from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm so she earns profit.

This will be Salma's first loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She is applying for this loan to purchase seats, tables, food items such as kilo's of rice, maize flour, wheat flour and utensils. Her dreams is to start a bigger business.

Salma will share a portion of this loan with her group members of "Mchikichini".
