Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Nueva Esperanza [New Hope] group is in its fourth lending cycle of the women's committee, in which everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They are participating in the Poverty Elimination program, which allows them to understand the life circumstances of each woman and to be able to strive to improve themselves on their own.

Included in this group is Adelina, who earns her living selling food. She says that through this work, she helps her family and generates the means to be able to give her loved ones a decent live without deprivation. Adelina mentions that she joined the group seeking to improve herself and to give her loved ones a better quality of life than she has had.

She is requesting this loan in order to be able to purchase supplies for making her meals, such as meat, seasonings, baked goods, vegetables, and other ingredients. She is grateful for the opportunity to be able to continue with her enterprise, as this is how she generates the means to be able to help her family.

In this group: Romilda, Sergia, Esmilda, Selva, Míguela, Dora, Ana, Lisa, Felicia, Lissi, Adelina, María, Carmen, Paulina, Dania, María, Julia, Blacida, Cecilia, Rumilda
