This village bank group consists of eleven people who all live in Sdao Kanleng village in Kandal province. Mrs. Srey Mom S. is the village bank president selected by the members. She is a housewife and her husband, Mr. Sim Roeun, is a construction worker. Although her husband works hard, he still does not earn sufficient income and now faces the problem of not owning a source of fresh water for his family to access. Thus, Mrs. Srey Mom S. has decided to ask for a loan to dig a well for her family’s use. She is 29 years old and the mother of two children, one of whom is employed in a garment factory while the other is enrolled in a local school.
