A loan helped a member to pay for her children's school tuition fees.


Al Saraa Group's story

Kilzar is the featured borrower of Al Saraa group, which consists of three Syrian refugees who are working hard to support their family members.

She got together with the other group members to acquire a Syrian refugee loan product from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua, because they’re working hard in order to improve their families’ living and businesses.

Kilzar is a 33-year-old married mother of three children. She runs her own home-based handicraft business with breadth of experience in this field.

Her loan share will be used to pay for her children's school tuition fees.

Kilzar is the lady on the left-side of the picture. As for other members: Elham is the lady in the middle, and Elif is the lady on the right-side of the picture.
