A loan helped a member to buy baby fish and two piglets.

Pa Khoang 32 Group's story

Dien, 38, is a Khmu-ethnic woman. She lives with her parents-in-law, husband and two children. Her daughter is 9 years old, her son is 7 years old, and they are still students in a primary school. All of the members of her family are living in a stilt house in a remote village.

Like other villagers, Mrs. Dien and her husband work very hard at farming and animal husbandry, with plenty of activities such as growing rice, raising fish, chicken...

This is the sixth time that she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program, and she will use the loan to buy young fish and two piglets for raising and selling.

She hopes that the fishes and pigs will help to improve productivity and yield. She will use the profit to cover her children's tuition fees, and save in case she has difficulty.

Mrs. Dien dreams of a more abundant life for her family and a bright future for her children.
