Yellow Bone Group's story

Mahopolang is a 55 year old mother of 8 children. Her husband is 65 years. Her eldest child is 35 years and the youngest is 14. Her homestead comprises of huts she has two dependents that she lives with. Her source of income is selling sweets and sewing. There is no electricity at home, so she purchases candles to light. With the ACE1 cook-stove, she will be able to light one of her huts, moreover, she and her dependents will now charge their cell phones.

Mahopolang, together with the rest of the group, have requested a loan from Kiva lenders so that they can pay for the stove.
