Marieme's Group's story

Mrs. Marième and her group are very energetic women who joined the banc villageois when it was established in 2013. Marième, the group's representative, is 44 years old, married, and the mother of six children, two of them boys.

Marième is a poultry farmer. With her loan, she plans to purchase 350 chicks and 18 sacks of feed in order to run her business well. Marième has three years of experience in this business and does very well thanks to loyal customers who allow her to easily sell her chicks.

Her profits allow Marième to increase her savings with the banc villageois, as well as to help her husband with the day-to-day household expenses.
