A loan helped to buy fish, potatoes, flour and cooking oil for her fish-and-chips business.

Eny's story

Eny is 37 years old and married with three children. She lives within the Gizo town, the western parts of the Solomon Islands.

Eny makes fish and chips and sells them in her community or at the market to earn living. She has been doing this for six years.

Eny needs a loan to buy fresh fish, bags of potatoes and other cooking ingredient to help assist her in running the business. She plans to use her profit to build a proper leaf hut for her customers and also pay for her children's school fees.

Eny recently joined SPBD in 2017 to gain access to financial services.
