A loan of $1,650 helped a member buy fertilizers and seeds to plant their crops and small livestock.

Señor Pan De Azucar De Sacllo Group's story

The Señor Pan de Azucar de Sacllo bank is located in the Sacllo community, which is in the Calca district and province in the heart of the sacred valley of the ancient Incas.

The members who make up this bank have mostly done so for two continuous years. They are dependable members. They alternate their activities between the home and farming. This time of year they are plowing their land to get it ready for a new planting of corn. This region produces a large and sweet grain. Other members need the money to buy small animals like guinea pigs and poultry to breed and later sell. Other members are teachers. Others have grocery stores. Generally, all of them have land and are farmers. Aside from this activity they alternate with different small businesses.

They are asking for the loan to invest money in their crops.

Our members are extremely grateful for the loan granted, and they promise to make all of their payments in the determined time frame.
