Sonia's story

Sonia is 27, and she lives in the La Esperanza district, Trujillo province, La Libertad department, Perú. This entrepreneur attended school until the fifth year of high school. Sonia is married and has a three month old son who is economically dependent upon her.

Sonia sells vegetables, cooked stews, and fruit in the market close to her house.

With her first loan for 300 PEN she bought fruits and vegetables wholesale.

With this loan for 800 PEN she will buy vegetables and fruits wholesale, mixed vegetables to boil, and she will start selling sugar and rice. She is planning on having a food stand.

Sonia dreams of having a food stand and selling wholesale to obtain greater earnings.
