A loan helped to purchase agricultural supplies to care for her banana plants among other products to give maintenance to the land which she works.

Regina's story

Regina is single and lives with her two children who are 8 and 12 years old. She works growing bananas to then sell them. The income which she generates, she uses to get her family ahead. In addition, she purchases the harvests of the producers in the area to have more sales capacity. She learned to carry out this business from her childhood, since her parents also worked at the business. She states that the land where her banana plants are was left to her by her parents. Her greatest advantage is that she is the only merchant in the area who works purchasing bananas to later sell them in the market.

She has chosen to ask for a loan to have more economic resources and to strengthen her business with the purchase of agricultural supplies to care for her banana plants among other products to give maintenance to the land which she works, so she will be able to fill her customers' demand in the least amount of time possible. She hopes to offer her customers better service and to have a more competitive and profitable business. What she plans is to keep working to support the fulfillment of all her obligations.

She dreams of increasing and diversifying her banana plants. In addition she wants to have economic stability in her family and improve their daily lifestyle.
