A loan of $700 helped buy utensils and ingredients for her food.

Brigida's story

Brígida lives with her husband and their children in her own house.

She has had an oriental food restaurant for one year. After having over ten years of experience in various businesses, she decided that her restaurant was the best choice to generate income. Everyday her husband and children help her take care of the establishment while she prepares the food. She carefully combines the ingredients to make her dishes exquisite. Now Brígida has decided to set up and improve the decoration of her business.

Her future wish is to have a countryside restaurant so that she could sell her food to the tourists.

This is the second time she has asked for a loan from MFP. She feels very good being a part of her community bank because it allows her to have savings. The money she is now asking for is to buy utensils for her restaurant. She will also buy new tablecloths and ingredients (rice and condiments) in large quantities.
