A loan helped to buy refillable bottles, to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

Rehema's story

Rehema and her husband have been married for 17 years, and have one son and three daughters. Before Jibu, she worked for the government in health services for 11 years.

Prior to being offered the opportunity to become a franchise owner, she had been reselling Jibu water as a micro-franchise in Rwamagana, where her current franchise is located as well. Her interest in Jibu stems from her passion for working for a charity and helping her community, not only to survive but thrive. Her aspirations include helping all people of Rwanda to have access to pure and safe drinking water, in order to prevent disease and other health issues.

A loan of $2,950 USD will allow her to purchase bottles and related inventory, to successfully run her business.

This loan is special because:

It supports entrepreneurs and increases access to clean water.
