A loan of $875 helped to buy material.

Mabel's story

Mabel is 36. She lives in her own house with her life partner and her children. Sandra is 17, and André is 5.

For two years she has been making clothing and similar items in the shop she installed in her house. She works there with two people to fill the orders that they get. She could not do it alone. Mabel not only has the work of making the clothing, but she also gets the material. To do this she needs to travel from her district to the center of the city, which is a two hour trip. Nevertheless, Mabel has happily known how to adapt herself to her work. She really likes what she does. It gives her the chance to be independent and to work for herself. That is why she puts forth much effort. In the future she wants her shop to be much larger and better established.

This is her first loan with MFP. She promises to be very responsible and punctual with all of her payments. With the money she is asking for she will buy large quantities of fabric because she currently has an order for pillowcases.
