Jacqueline's story

Yacqueline is a mother and head of her household. She is 46 years old, a widow, and lives with her only child, who is 19 years old. With great effort, Yacqueline managed to finish secondary school and she is currently finishing a course in commercial and financial administration, thanks to her own efforts and the support of her parents and siblings.

Yacqueline married very young, had her child, and 16 years ago, her husband was taken by violence. When this tragedy occurred, Yacqueline decided to face life head-on and provide for her child. This is what inspired her to start a business on her parents' property where she sells disposable party supplies.

Yacqueline's business has turned out very well, as the property is in a very good location and she has no competition in the area. Today, she has had the store for four years and her sales have tended to improve. However, Yacqueline needs a helping hand to provide working capital, so that she can increase her inventory and, as a result, offer a more well-rounded service. This will also improve her income and her quality of life.

Yacqueline's dream is to complete her studies and become a successful professional, so that she can give her child the opportunity to also become a professional who contributes positively to society.
