A loan helped to sow more coffee plants and to buy fertilizer to improve her production in the upcoming coffee-growing seasons.

Pastora's story

Pastora, lives in village of Mora Grande, a community of coffee-growers located 30 minutes from San Ignacio, Perú. Pastora is 59 years old. She is a widow and lives with her daughter and their three grandchildren. She maintains her own 3 hectares of land where she grows excellent quality coffee.

Since she was a little girl, her parents taught her how to grow crops. She dreams of increasing her production and improving her small family's quality of life.

A loan to Pastora will give her the opportunity to improve her business by increasing her production with fertilizer and improving the quality of the coffee. She will invest this money to be able to sow more coffee plants. She will buy fertilizers and maintain her farms in order to improve her plots of land and increase her production in the upcoming coffee-growing seasons.
