Unidos Venceremos 2 Group
In this Group: Bladimir, Luvana, Marcellin, Celiant, Fiordaliza
Bladimir is the group coordinator of "Unidos Venceremos" (Together We Are Victorious) which is based in a community surrounding La Romana where electricity and running water (none of which is potable) is unreliable at best. Here he makes his home with his wife and two adolescent children in a rented home with concrete walls and a tin roof.

Bladimir plans to use this loan to invest in his business selling fruit juice and small pastries, which is the family's primary source of income. He will purchase a sack of flour, two and a half sacks of sugar and five dozen varieties of fruits.

Bladimir came to Esperanza with the goal of improving his business through access to credit, and is now on his third loan after having successfully repaid the first two. With the added benefits coming from increased productive capacity, Bladimir hopes to be able to move out of his rented home and purchase his own home. In the long term, he dreams of one day purchasing a truck to help expand his mobile fruit juice business. He thanks you all for your support.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
