Abena's story

Janet is 62years old she is divorced and mother of five children. One is a trader whiles the rest of the children are farming in their inherited farmland. She is resourceful mother who works very hard to provide food and support for her business. She is a petty trader and sells at the community market square; she enjoys selling, a business through which she makes a living. She sells items like cooking oil, pepper, spices, toilet soap etc. on top of a table in the market. She takes stock of goods from the Kumasi central market which is a nearby city and her surrounding communities for the vegetables. She is requesting for the loan to upgrade her inventory.
