Adjoa Bella's story

In 2004 Madame A. decided to start selling general food products to cover her household expenses. She is married, and after her husband retired, she quickly understood that she would have to generate some income to keep the household going. In order to purchase new stock, Madame A. would like a loan from Kiva Field Partner, WAGES, to buy 12 cans of oil, 20 boxes of spaghetti, five cases of oil and various other products such as 15 cases of different soaps. She conducts her business activities in the Agoè Assiyéyé neighborhood in Lomé.
