This group loan consists of 18 people who all live in Ta Reab Doun Sar village in Kandal province. Mrs. Kunthea T. has been selected by the members of the group to be its president. She sells fish in the local market. Her husband, Mr. P. Phearak, is a fisherman whose boat is broken. Although this couple tries to work hard, they still don't earn enough income to support their family’s needs. Because of this, Mrs. Kunthea T. is asking for a loan to buy more fishnets, fix her husband's boat, and repair her family's house. She is 24 years old and the mother of two children who are only ages one and three.
