A loan helped to buy a fish cooler, calculator, scale and fishing gear for her fish market business.

Norah's story

Norah is 27 years old and is married with three children. She lives in a rural community outside Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She runs a fish market business selling fresh fish in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for two years.

Norah has requested a loan to pay for additional items such as a fish cooler, calculator, scale and fishing gear to help her in running her fish market business.

She joined SPBD in 2014 to gain access to capital.

With her earnings, Norah will cover her family's weekly expenses and expand her fish market business.
