Yolanda's story

Yolanda is a member of the "Manuela de Hoy II" (The Manuela of Today II) Village Bank, located in the Camicachi Community, Llave District, El Collao Province, Department of Puno. She's 35, married, the mother of three children, and has an incomplete secondary school education. She lives in the Urani Marca Kollo sector.

She's been working with the Manuela Ramos Movement for two years. She used her first loan, for 300 soles, to buy products from her region. She currently needs a loan for 2000 soles which she'll invest in the purchase of potatoes, potato flour, quinoa, barley, etc., to sell at local markets.

Yolanda's wish is to continue working. She enjoys the meetings and the savings.
