Yaa's story

Fifty-year-old Yaa is married with six children, four of whom attend school in their local community. They are a very humble family who want to invest in their children's future by providing them with a quality education.

Yaa is a grocery shop owner and sells item like cooking oil, spices, pepper, onions, cassava, plantain, dried fish, tinned tomatoes, and bags of rice etc. Yaa says these products sell very fast and she can easily recover her money to restock. Her goods are delivered from the capital city of Kumasi.

With two years experience in her business, Yaa wants to expand her stock in response to frequent customer demands for items such as maize, smoked fish, and more. She believes that this could be possible with the help of a loan.
