A loan of $450 helped to buy baskets for keeping and exporting exotic produce.

Amévi's story

This gentleman lives in the Avépozo district in Lomé that is a district specialized in market gardening for export. He has a business reselling packing materials for this exotic produce. The market gardeners buy covered baskets from him wholesale and retail. He stocks up in Benin and then resells the baskets. He’s requesting a WAGES loan to order anew: 560 baskets and 600 lids. And the rest of the loan will be used to cover the costs of transport to Benin. This man is married and has one child in his care.
