A loan of $350 helped to buy improved varieties of pigs.

Gagnaglo's story

Mr. Gagnaglo studied agronomy at the University. Afterwards, since he found no work to his liking, he decided to raise pigs of improved varieties. This business enables him to provide for his wife and three children. He buys pigs from Benin, where he raises them to sell. His pig pens are located in Agbata, a few kilometers from Lomé. Currently, he’s requesting a WAGES loan to buy 20 improved pigs. This loan will also allow him to renovate the places where he raises them in order to accommodate some new pigs. He started his husbandry in 2007 but already has many customers.
