“Rosas de Ollajsantia” communal bank will begin its sixth cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Copacabana regional hub. It is made up of eight members, led by a board of directors with Monica as President.

The loan they will take out will benefit women microentrepreneurs, including Monica. She currently has a business selling stucco. She mentions that she learned this business through her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she will take out now will be for increasing capital buying stucco in bulk. She will purchase it from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, then sell it in her sales space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. She is married and has three children.
